[Volleyball] No. 3 Warriors Surge Past No. 23 Concordia in Fifth Set

FREMONT, Neb. – Meeting for the second time this season, No. 3 Midland University and No. 23 Concordia University needed five sets to determine a victor on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs, who were swept on their home court in the first meeting, came out with revenge on their mind and nearly pulled off the upset. Midland took games two, three and rallied in the fifth to come away with a hard-fought victory (19-25, 25-14, 25-19, 13-25, 15-13). The Warriors improve to 17-2 overall and hold a 6-2 mark in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). Concordia's record drops to 9-7 and 4-4 in the conference.
