[Volleyball] Rhoads named to AVCA Southeast Region Team

Behind an outstanding season that saw Shawnee State junior outside hitter Macie Rhoads earn First-Team All-MSC honors for the second season in a row, the Circleville product was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Southeast Region Team, as announced by the association Friday afternoon.
Rhoads, who was one of eight Mid-South Conference players named to the primary team -- and 11 from the conference overall between the primary and honorable mention groups -- posted 378 kills and 389 digs while hitting .290 on the attack during the 2020-21 season, ultimately finishing eighth in the NAIA in kills per set (4.2) and 13th in total kills with her performance.
