Girls Fall Skills Program – Grades 7-9
Volleyball Manitoba is pleased to announce a fall skills program for girls in grades 7-9 (birth years 2008, 2007, 2006). This program is designed to get players back out on the court, maximize skill development and have fun. Using a court that is 2/3 the size of a regulation volleyball court, all of our drills will be using 2’s, 3’s or 4’s format. Having fewer athletes on the court will maximize the number of contacts per player, and help players read and understand the game. Each session will feature a skill building component followed by the opportunity to play using various formats. Players may register as individuals, or in groups of up to 4 players who will train together. Ensuring the safety of our athletes and coaches is our top priority. All of the sessions will be held at Sport Manitoba – 145 Pacific Avenue.
The dates and times of our programs are as follows.
Grade 7 girls (born in 2008) Tuesday Program – Experience playing volleyball in a school, club or camp setting would be a beneficial but is not required.
COST: $135 + GST + $17 Program Participant Membership
