[Volleyball] MSC announces women's volleyball schedule

Georgetown College women's volleyball will play Mid-South Conference games in the spring semester, as decided by the MSC administrative council. Friday, the Tigers learned competition dates and opponents for their 16-match schedule.

With 12 teams, the league has been split into divisions. The Tigers are in a division with Shawnee State University, Campbellsville University, Thomas More University, University of Pikeville and University of the Cumberlands. Lindsey Wilson College, Bethel University, Freed-Hardeman University, Martin Methodist College, Cumberland University and Life University comprise the other side. Everyone will play divisional opponents twice and cross-divisional teams just once.

With basketball season in full swing at that time as well, Commissioner Eric Ward along with the league athletic directors decided to tandem volleyball and basketball. What this means, if basketball is at home, volleyball will be on the road. Volleyball will start conference games Feb. 15.
