By virtue of their win the previous day over Appalachian Bible, ALC advanced to the final four where they would face the second seed, and NCCAA’s 4th ranked Johnson University Royals.

JU jumped ahead in game 1 and rolled to the 25-10 win. In game 2, the Royals put on a clinic in winning a decisive 25-8 game. Not willing to see their season end in that fashion, Alice Lloyd played their best match in Game 3 and battled all the way to extra points. Finally, JU pulled out the exhausting 29-27 clincher.
