MEMPHIS - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (7-12, 5-8 G-MAC) fell to Christian Brothers University (9-13, 2-7 GSC), 3-0 (19-25, 13-25, 15-25) on Tuesday night in Canale Arena.

The Trojans fell behind 2-0 before tying it at 3-3 … early in the first set neither team created much separation … TNU called a timeout when CBU used a 3-0 run to lead 14-11 … out of the timeout CBU got four straight points and led 17-12 … TNU cut to within three at 21-18, before CBU closed out the set on a 4-1 run … the Trojans took the first point of the third set, but fell into a 7-2 hole … TNU trailed 10-5 when CBU used a 6-0 run to take control of the set at 16-5 … CBU took set two, 25-13 … TNU jumped out to a 3-0 run and maintained a 7-4 before CBU tied it at 10-10 … with the set tied at 12-12, CBU went on a 13-3 run to close out the match.
TOP TROJANS
Madison Martin (FR/Martinsville, IN) led the team with seven kills and a .333 attack percentage … Claire Hindman (FR/Westfield, IN) had a team-high 12 digs with three assists.

Trojans hit .170 (25 K, 10 E, 88 TA) for the match and produced 35 digs with 21 assists.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Trojans head to Indianapolis to participate in the Midwest Region Crossover Tournament.
The Trojans battle William Jewell College (5-16, 2-9 GLVC) on Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM.
On Saturday the Trojans challenge Lake Superior State University (3-16, 2-9 GLIAC) at 9:00 AM and prepare for Quincy University (9-12, 2-9 GLVC) just a few hours later at 3:00 PM.
TNU leads the all-time series with WJC 2-1, while they have never met LSSU and dropped the only ever meeting with QU.
