[Volleyball] Balanced Attack Lead No. 9 Warriors to Sweep over Doane

FREMONT, Neb. – No. 9-ranked Midland University took advantage of their full repertoire of hitters on Tuesday night as they dispatched Doane University in straight sets (25-11, 25-21, 25-19). With the win the Warriors improve to 18-3 on the season and 10-1 on Great Plains Athletic Conference play. The Tigers fall to 10-13 (3-8 GPAC) on the year.

Senior Jessica Peters took advantage of decent passing by the Warriors to set up the Midland attack. She finished with 31 set assists for kills while five different teammates recorded double-digit attacks. Fellow seniors Priscilla O'Dowd and Jenny Bair tied for the team-high with 8 kills apiece while sophomore Sydney Morehouse finished with 7 kills. The outside hitting pair of Bair and junior Taylor Petersen combined for 13 kills and just 1 error on the night, something that head coach Paul Giesselmann noted after the match.
