SANTEE, Calif. — The SDC women's volleyball team got back to their winning ways as they defeated West Coast Baptist in straight sets Tuesday night (25-10, 25-16, 25-12).
The win snaps the Hawks skid as they prepare for another trip to Northern California this weekend. Their record now stands at 7-13.
Chelsea Lawrence led with a game-high 10 kills out of 18 attempts. Kelsey Henderson was next with nine.
SDC started off the game on a 10-2 run as the Hawks hit 42 percent in the set. Their highest hitting percentage came in the third set when they hit 45.5 en route to the sweep.
The Hawks look to keep it going against William Jessup on Friday in Rocklin before facing Menlo on Saturday in Atherton.
