[Volleyball] Point Volleyball Suffers First AAC Loss; 3-1 at Tennessee Wesleyan

ATHENS, Tenn. -- Point University volleyball (14-9; 8-1 AAC), coached by Amanda Jones, lost for the first time this season in nine Appalachian Athletics Conference matches, dropping a 3-1 match at Tennessee Wesleyan University (12-12; 8-3 AAC), Oct. 6, in Athens, Tenn.  TWU defeated Point, 28-26, 25-19, 18-25 and 25-15.  Tennessee Wesleyan leads the AAC North Division, while Reinhardt (18-4; 9-0 AAC) leads the AAC North Division with the Skyhawks close behind in second place.  Point plays three AAC South Division matches in West Point Park Gym next week, hosting Reinhardt, Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m.; St. Andrews University (4-7; 2-2), Thursday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m.; and Allen University (7-12; 2-7), Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m.
