[Women's Volleyball] Royals Volleyball Starts Season Strong

The 2018 season has come to a start for the HIU Royals today playing in their first tournament, the HIU Summer Slam, at home at the Darling Pavillon. The Royals start strong with a 2-0 record. They took the first match against Warner Pacific (OR), winning 3-1 and then battled against Olivet Nazarene coming out on top in five sets. 

The first match took the Royals awhile to warm up, dropping the first set 31-33. Ultimately they got their groove back and with consistent rallies and a steady mindset the girls cruised through the other three sets winning: 25-17, 25-20, and 25-15.
