Kerri Walsh-Jennings to retire from beach volleyball after 2020 Olympics
Kerri Walsh Jennings will retire from competitive beach volleyball after the Tokyo Olympics in two years, the three-time Olympic gold medalist said.
Walsh Jennings, who went to Mitty High and Stanford, will turn 42 during the next Olympics. She has yet to settle on a partner, though she has narrowed her choice to two women. She is also coming off surgeries last year on her right shoulder and left ankle.
Basketball: The Dallas Mavericks acquired center Chinanu Onuaku and cash from the Houston Rockets for the rights to forward Maarty Leunen and a 2020 second-round pick the Mavericks obtained from the Warriors in 2016.
