[Volleyball] V-Hawks beat Georgetown in three

Georgetown College needs a win Thursday and for Our Lady of the Lake to hand No. 15 Eastern Oregon University a loss Wednesday to keep hopes alive in the 2017 NAIA Volleyball National Championship. The No. 17 Tigers (21-6) fought hard against No. 2 Viterbo University (36-1) erasing set points, fighting back from large deficits, but could not overcome the V-Hawks in a 25-12, 25-20, 25-18 loss.

Caroline Ricks led the way with nine kills, while Madison Mudd had seven, Ashton Meckle five and Jenny Howell and Kim Bailey had three each. Kassidy Rauh dished out 26 assists on the 27 kills. Lexie Gatewood led the defense with 14 digs.
