The Lady Bearcats were led by sophomore outside hitter Natalie Jones who recorded 13 kills. Helping Jones was Hayes (9) and Ungerer who had 8 kills on 16 attempts with no errors hitting a blistering .500 for the match.

In the second match of the day the Lady Bearcats faced Rio Grande in the final match of the day. The Lady Bearcats would once again take the win in just three sets. 25-22, 25-29, and 25-17.

"I am so proud of how we fought today. It wasn't pretty, but we got the job done. Now we have to get refocused and get ready for I.U. South." (Coach Forbes)
