[Women's Volleyball] Volleyball Downs Hawaii-Hilo Vulcans in Straight Sets

ATERTON, Calif. – Game seven of the eight game home stand was arguably the most well played of the set for the Menlo College women's volleyball team. The Oaks, playing for the second consecutive day and sixth match in the last six days, put together a well-rounded team effort that netted them a 3-0 (25-21,25-21,25-17) victory over NCAA Div. II Hawaii-Hilo on Wednesday evening in Atherton. The Oaks had six different players tally two or more kills on the evening with Emily Sunada and Maggie McDonald leading the way with 11 each. The night for McDonald was her second consecutive evening with 10 plus kills, building off her career-best 25 kills on Tuesday in a win over Pacific Union College. The victory on Wednesday moves the Oaks to 9-3 on the season while Hawaii-Hilo is 1-1 on the young season.
