Premier League 2017 S1 - Finals Night
Congratulations to those teams that have made it through to the medal matches. Medal presentations for the Junior matches will be held in the yellow gym after the Gold medal matches have finished. Presentations for the Senior matches will be held after each division's Gold Medal match is finished.
The Gold medal matches for A Grade Men and Women will be untimed.
The A Grade Bronze Medal matches will start at 6:40pm and run for a maximum of 90 minutes. The A Grade Gold Medal match will be scheduled to start at 8:00pm, in case the Bronze medal match finishes inside 90 minutes. The latest time that the 2nd match may start is at 8:30pm.
The Men's A Reserve matches will be 1 hour - both Bronze & Gold medal matches.
Please Note: players must have played 3 games to be eligible for finals. Playing ineligible players will result in a forfeit. During the regular season I am more willing to allow exceptions to avoid forfeits, this is not the case during finals. If you are not sure then you need to check with me before taking the court.
Referee's Course
We have a referee's course coming up next weekend (17th June). I would highly recommend this course - it is a great opportunity to learn the rules of the game, even if you don't intend to get up on the stand.
Grand Prix Volleyball - Round 1
There will be some high quality volleyball being played out at the Highfields Recreation & Fintess Centre this weekend, as the first round of the Grand Prix Volleyball tournament is played. Head out and watch our Titans Men and Women's teams begin their campaign in the 3 round series.
Season 2
We will be having a muster night for Season 2 on Tuesday the 25th of July - with matches starting the following week.
