Beijing advances to Chinese women's volleyball super league semis
BEIJING, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Beijing swept Liaoning 3-0 here on Tuesday to win the best-of-three quarterfinals 2-1 of the Chinese women's volleyball super league.
With the series tied at 1-1 after the first two matches, Anna Lazareva of Russia scored 24 points and Katarina Lazovic of Serbia added 14 as Beijing beat Liaoning 25-22, 25-14 and 25-21 in Game 3, and will meet Shanghai in the best-of-three semifinals.<
