[Men's Volleyball] BENU Sweeps Past UCM and into the National Championship

Last year's first California Pacific Conference men's volleyball championship was wiped out by COVID-19, and one of the casualties of this year's shortened schedule was the fact that No. 2 Benedictine-Mesa and No. 15 UC Merced never played during the regular season.  But early on it was clear that the two undefeated programs were on a collision course to square off in the Cal Pac Jamboree finale.  The two took to the court Wednesday in Merced, Calif., and the Redhawks were in control from start to finish, sweeping the Bobcats 3-0  (25-20, 25-18, 25-16).
