Head women's volleyball coaches in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) anticipate a tight race for the conference champion as one point separates the top two spots in the 2020-21 preseason poll. Madonna sits at No. 1 with 114 points and four first-place votes while Aquinas is second with 113 points and six first-place votes. The two teams tied for second place last season with 14-6 conference records. Indiana Tech is third with 94 points. Last year's champion Lawrence Tech received the last first-place vote and lands at No. 5.
