[Volleyball] Tigers grit out win over Life

Sometimes in sports you must find ways to grit out victories. Georgetown College volleyball did that Saturday hosting Life University. The Tigers (17-10, 10-3) started slow against the Runnin' Eagles, but rebound and pulled out a 19-25, 25-22, 25-11, 21-25, 16-14 win.

GC had 52 kills, hitting .200 for the match, overcoming 25 unforced errors. Jessica Tapp led with 13 kills, while Madison Mudd, McKala Bozman and Ashton Meckle added eight each. Brianna Cathers and Erica Lee continue to do well with the one-two setter punch, contributing 25 and 22 assists respectively.
