[Women's Volleyball] Rice Wins National Defender of the Week Award

KANSAS CITY - A day after being Golden State Athletic Conference Defender of the Week for the second time in a three week span, the NAIA has selected Sam Rice (SR/Temecula, CA) as the winner at the national level. Yesterday, she was recognized for her high level of play against two top-25 teams last weekend guiding the 21st ranked Lions to a split against #17 Westmont College and #25 The Master's University. In her career, she has won three Conference Player of the Week awards.
