[Volleyball] No. 11 Lady Warriors Defeat Trolls to Finish Weekend Unbeaten

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – No. 11 Midland University volleyball capped off a three-win weekend with a four-set victory over (RV) Trinity Christian College on Saturday at the SXU/TCC Crossover Tournament. The Lady Warriors improve to 6-1 on the season and have now won four straight matches.
Midland was challenged early on by Trinity Christian as the host-school came back from being down 9-3 early in set one to get back to within one at 18-17. The Warriors responded with a 7-3 run to close out the set for the 25-20 win, thanks in large part to solid defense and errors by the Trolls.
