There are some 576 matches in the London League this season. During London School Games last month 338 games were played by youngsters who are under sixteen. Under 18s in the upcoming London Youth Games will play the same number or a few more if, as expected, the number of entries is larger. University volleyball provides competition with nearly 200 matches and on top of all these are the friendly games and tournaments that teams use to prepare for competition.
