[Women's Tennis] Womens Tennis: Five Skyhawks Receive Conference Awards

WEST POINT, Ga. – One Point University women's tennis player was named to the AAC Champions of Character Team and four Skyhawks received AAC All-Academic team recognition for the 2017 season.  The Lady Skyhawks posted a 6-13 dual-match record, the most dual-match wins in a season in Point women's tennis history, and went 3-5 in AAC competition under the direction of head coach Chad Simpson.

Gema Mendoza from Bluefield College was named AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year, and Chiara Rebecchi from Reinhardt University earned Freshman of the Year honors.  Amyn Mukadam from SCAD-Atlanta received Coach of the Year recognition.
