Men’s Tennis: GSAC Regular Season Co-Champions

For the first time in 19 years, #16 Westmont Men’s Tennis earned the title of Golden State Athletic Conference Co-Champions, alongside San Diego Christian. The Warriors became co-champions when they defeated Hope International (2-15, 0-9 GSAC) by a score of 9-0.

In singles play, the Warriors won three matches in two sets and three matches by forfeit.

Playing at number one, Carl Lindqvist, who was the GSAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Month for the month of March, defeated Mauricio Mosquera 6-4, 6-4; at number two, Luke Whalen was triumphant over Anthony Sena in two sets 6-1, 6-2; and at number three, Travis Kimsey overcame Andres Rivas 6-0, 6-0.
