[Men's Tennis] Ryan Rogers and Mac Flannery Sign with Men's Tennis Program

Notre Dame, Ind. - The Holy Cross men's tennis team is proud to announce the signing of the two first recruits in school history. Ryan Rogers from Edwardsburg High School and Mac Flannery from Mulberry, Florida will join the Saints family next year. Both student-athletes will join Steve Bender's inaugural recruiting class for the 2017-2018 season. 

Ryan Rogers has attended Edwardsburg High School in Edwardsburg, Michigan for the last four years. The 6'3 tennis standout was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team in 2013, 2015, and 2016. In 2013, Rogers was a memeber of the West Divsion Champion Edwardsburg Eddies team. The Michigan native has also been a team captain for his high school's tennis program. Rogers plans to major in business while attending Holy Cross.

Mac Flannery hails from Mulberry, Florida where he has been a member of the McKeel Academy tennis team in Lakeland, Florida. Flannery has competed at the #1 singles and doubles spots his entire high school career, including being named team captain his senior year. While at McKeel, Flannery was named All Polk County and All-District (2A) during his junior and senior year campaigns. Flannery has amassed a 27-13 singles record and 31-9 doubles record throughout his prep career. Not only are his skill impressive on the tennis court, Flannery was also a competitive chess player, winning multiple county tournaments. While at Holy Cross, Mac also plans on majoring in business.
