[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Adds Burguieres
Notre Dame, Ind. - The Holy Cross women's tennis team is proud to announce the signing of the first recruit in school history. Kaitlin Burguieres from Lake Charles, Louisiana will join the Saints family next year. She will join Steve Bender's inaugural recruiting class on the women's side for the 2017-2018 season.
Kaitlin Burguieres hails from Lake Charles, Louisiana where she has attended St. Louis Catholic High School. Burguieres is heading into her senior year of tennis this spring after winning a state championship in doubles last year. Her success started her freshman year as she was a state semi-finalist in singles and continued during her sophomore campaign when she made it to the state finals in the singles division. Kaitlin is ranked as the 5th best tennis player in Louisiana for the class of 2017 by The Tennis Recruiting Network. Kaitlin is the daughter of Doug and Cindy Burguieres and plans on majoring in History/Political Science.
