[Women's Tennis] Cavaliers Drop Two Over Weekend

Montreat, NC - On Saturday, the Cavaliers hosted AAC foe Bluefield College. The Cavaliers fell 9-0.

After doubles, the Cavs fell behind 3-0 going into singles play. Bluefield would take all six lines of singles.

On Sunday, the Montreat women's tennis team traveled to Lexington, South Carolina to take on another AAC member, Columbia College. The Cavaliers would lose 9-0.

Columbia would take all three lines of doubles, as well as all six lines of singles.

"There were a lot of close games – a lot of games going to deuce," head coach Andrew Cobb said. "We just didn't capitalize on the big points. Even though the scores don't reflect it, this was our best conference performance yet."

Next up, the Cavaliers host SCAD-Atlanta on Monday, April 10th. Start time is scheduled for 2PM.
