Play at the ITF Bengaluru Open was halted when a swarm of honey bees descended upon the S.M. Krishna tennis stadium. Spectators and players sought shelter as the arena was invaded. The match between Talia Gibson and Sahaja Yamalapalli was paused. Play resumed shortly after the bees dispersed. Gibson secured a swift victory.
