U.S. Tennis Star Ben Shelton is Dating Popular Athlete

American Ben Shelton is in the process of trying to close out Rinky Hijikata of Australia in the second round of Wimbledon Thursday afternoon.

Shelton, 22, is one of the United States' up-and-coming tennis stars. Currently ranked No. 10 in the world, the Atlanta-born southpaw has two singles titles to his name and reached the semifinals at the Australian Open earlier this year.

As impressive as Shelton's resume is, his girlfriend has accomplished even more on the international stage. Back in March, Shelton and United States women's national soccer team star Trinity Rodman "hard launched" their relationship on Instagram, instantly becoming one of sports' biggest power couples.

Rodman, 23, who plays for the Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) as well as the USWNT, won a gold medal in Paris last summer. She has also been a part of three She Believes Cup-winning squads, helped the U.S. win the CONCACAF W Gold Cup in 2024 and won the NWSL championship and league Rookie of the Year honors in 2021.

The daughter of former NBA star Dennis Rodman, Rodman is one of the American soccer's top young players, male or female. She and Shelton regularly post photos of each other together on Instagram, where each have built substantial followings.

"No one else ????," Rodman captioned a post last month of her and Shelton walking on the street, kissing and holding hands.

When Rodman celebrated her 23rd birthday back in May, Shelton posted a heartfelt message for her on IG.

"Happy birthday beautiful girlI love you," he captioned the post of the two athletes together.

Both Shelton and Rodman have posted noteworthy accomplishments so far, and they aren't even in the prime of their careers yet.

The sky is a limit for them on the court and the pitch. Hopefully their relationship is built to last as well.
