[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Completes Opening Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (Tournament Page) - The opening day of the 2022 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Tennis Tournament featured top-seeded Indiana Tech and third-seeded UNOH advance through the single-elimination bracket. Hosted by Cornerstone, the matches were contested at Gainey Tennis Center and MVP Crahen.

With Indiana Tech receiving a bye in the quarterfinals, the other six teams took the court. No. 4 Aquinas eliminated fifth-seeded Lawrence Tech 4-3 while second-seeded Cornerstone took care of No. 7 Concordia, 4-0. UNOH then defeated No. 6 Lourdes to set up the semifinals.

In the semis, Indiana Tech ousted Aquinas 4-0 while UNOH edged Cornerstone 4-2. The Championship is set for 9 a.m. on April 30 at Gainey Tennis Center.
