[Men's Tennis] Hawks Wrap Up Undefeated GSAC Regular Season With Win at USK

VISTA, Calif. – In taking down the University of Saint Katherine Firebirds 4-0 on Saturday, the San Diego Christian College men's tennis team completed the 2022 regular season undefeated in the Golden State Athletic Conference.

Chris Papa and Nick Nienhaus teamed up in doubles earning a 6-4 win. Robin Van den Hoek and Laurenz Grabia then secured the opening team point with a 6-4 win as well.

San Diego Christian's Nienhaus made quick work of his opponent, gaining the opening singles point 6-0, 6-0. Grabia's match was almost as dominant as Nienhaus' as he took down his USK counterpart 6-0, 6-1.

SDCC's number one, Papa clinched the match for the Hawks with a 6-3, 6-3 win.

Having already won the GSAC regular-season championship, the Hawks now await the seeding and bracketing for the conference Men's Tennis Championship.
