[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Falls to No. 15 Cumberlands

GEORGETOWN, Ky. - The Georgetown College women's tennis team opened their final weekend of the regular season on Friday afternoon at the Lackey Tennis Center when they welcomed in the University of the Cumberlands Patriots. The Tigers struggled to find a rhythm in the dual, and when the dust had settled, Georgetown found themselves on the short end of a tough afternoon.

Georgetown (9-12, 4-5 MSC) forced a tiebreak at the third doubles match, and the Tigers saw one singles match head to a third set, but that was all they were able to manage as the 15th-ranked Patriots (19-5, 9-1 MSC) locked up the second seed in the upcoming Mid-South Conference Championships with a 7-0 win.
