[Women's Tennis] Hawks Claim Victory over HIU in GSAC Opener

FULLERTON, Calif. – The San Diego Christian College Hawks women's tennis team opened GSAC play with a 4-1 victory over the Hope International University Royals Thursday.

In doubles, all three Hawk duos claimed victory over their Royal counterparts. Anthea Weiland an Angelika Sidorov cruised 6-1, Liza Hinrichs and Milana Hrudka won 6-4 and Franzi Niederle and Tatiana Harvey claimed a 6-1 win to get the opening team point.

In singles, Tatiana Harvey (6-2, 6-0), Franzi Niederle (6-2, 6-1), and Milana Hrudka would clinch the conference-opening victory for the Hawks with convincing victories over the HIU competition.
