[Tennis] Warriors Open 2021-22 Season at GPAC Tourney

LINCOLN, Neb. – Midland University's tennis program traveled to compete in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) single's and double's tournament on Friday and Saturday. The event marked the Warriors first competition of the 2021-2022 season.
In the men's singles A draw, Miguel Abete was victorious, defeating Doane's Jorge Chevez in the final round, 6-4 and 6-3. Also victorious was Luca Struffi, who won the B draw after dropping the opening set 4-6, then winning 6-4 and 10-6. Also in the A draw was Nunzio Thiel, who fell in the second round to Northwestern.
