[Women's Tennis] #13 Women's Tennis Falls in Second Round of 2021 NAIA National Tournament
Mobile, Ala.- A day after making program history by winning their first-ever National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national tournament match, the No. 13 seeded women's tennis team was back in action at the 2021 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship Tournament on Wednesday. The team won their first-round match of the tournament on Tuesday by a 4-1 score, falling in the doubles point but scoring four straight points in the singles matches to come back and win, the only team to accomplish that feat on day one of the tournament. In the second round, the team faced the No. 4 seed in the tournament, the Indiana Wesleyan University Lady Wildcats, with a trip to the quarterfinals on the line.
