Mobile, Ala.- After advancing to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history, the men's tennis team was looking to keep the history rolling in. In their quarterfinal match at the 2021 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tournament, the team faced the No. 5 seed, the Reinhardt University Eagles, a team they had faced two times this season already. The first time came in the regular season, a 4-3 win for the Bulldogs, and in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament final was the second time, a 4-2 win for TWU which gave them their first AAC Tournament title. The third match between the two teams in the national tournament produced similar results for the Bulldogs.
