[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Honors

LIMA, Ohio - (Complete Honors) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its 2021 Men's Tennis Honors at the championship match of the league tournament.

UNOH sophomore Sergio Conde, was named Player of the Year after posting an 13-5 record at No. 1 singles (including tournament wins). He also posted a 15-4 No. 1 doubles record with Marcos Salazar. Newcomer of the Year went to freshman Agustin Cortes of Indiana Tech, who had a 7-0 singles record. 

First-year UNOH head coach Jeff Brown was awarded Coach of the Year after guiding the Racers to the regular-season championship. The coaches voted Lawrence Tech head coach Steve Behmlander as the sport's Champion of Character Coach. 

In addition to First Team All-Conference, the WHAC also announced its All-Academic Team (juniors or above in academic standing with cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and in attendance at nominating school for one full year) and the Champions of Character Team (best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership).
