[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Slides Back Into First Place Tie

Doane Women's Tennis traveled to Seward on Tuesday to take on the GPAC front-runner in Concordia. The Tigers bounced back nicely from a tough match on Sunday by handing the Bulldogs their first conference loss of the season in a 6-1 victory. The win for Doane leaves four GPAC teams in the conference with one loss apiece heading into the final stretch of games: Doane, Concordia, Morningside, and Midland.

The Tigers took the early lead by winning two of the three doubles matches. Doane posted a 6-3 win at 2-doubles and a 6-4 win at 3-doubles. In singles action, the Tigers won five matches including four in straight sets.
