[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Blanks Hastings

Doane Women's Tennis picked up a 7-0 win over Hastings on Tuesday afternoon in Crete, matching their biggest victory over the Broncos in the program's history. The Tigers improved their overall record to 10-3 and conference mark to 3-0.

The Tigers cruised 2-doubles and 3-doubles to claim the team point but was upset in the 1-doubles match. That would be the only match Doane would not come out on top in as they swept the singles matches. One singles match, at 6-singles, went three sets as Makayla Rice (SR/Lincoln, Neb.) posted the victory for Doane in the final match of the day.

The seven point victory matches the 8-1 win over the Broncos in 2014 when teams played a nine-point match.
