[Men's Tennis] No. 13 Men's Tennis Cruises to 7-0 Win Over ACU

RAMONA, Calif. – Looking to keep their streak against GSAC opponents going, the No. 13 SDCC men's tennis team did just that as they rolled Arizona Christian on Friday, 7-0.

The win gives the Hawks the No. 1 seed in the GSAC Tournament starting on April 20. They are also 8-2 on the season and a clean 8-0 in conference.

Winning the first doubles match by default, the Hawks took the other matches quickly winning 6-2 in No. 1 Doubles and 6-3 in No. 2 Doubles.

David Samardzija won his singles match by default to give the Hawks two points in the contest. SDCC won four of the remaining five singles matches in straight sets. Ivan Smith was the only one who went the distance at No. 3 Singles. He won 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

The Hawks will exit GSAC play against Azusa Pacific for the next match on April 16.
