[Tennis] Women's Tennis Falcons Take Down Bethany 5-2; Swedes Slip by Men's Tennis Falcons 4-3

Lindsborg, Kan. – The Friends University Women's Tennis Falcons defeated the Bethany College Swedes 5-2, while the Falcon Men were tripped up by Bethany 4-3.

Nikolett Krivek (FR) and Isabelle Smith powered the Falcons to the victory with wins in both their singles and doubles matches.

Jazzmyn Williams (FR) and Hanna Wood (FR) also recorded singles wins, with Krivek teaming with Sydney McGrown (JR) and Smith combining with Ariel Williams (SR/Haysville, Kan. ) for a pair of crucial doubles victories.

Kerry Dunn (JR/Wichita, Kan. ), Benjamin Zoller (SR/Lenexa, Kan. ) and Nathan Watson (FR/Goddard, Kan. ) helped the Falcons split the singles matches, but Christian Martin (SO/Wichita, Kan. ) and Franco Iozzo (FR/Bahia Blanco, Argentina) was the only Friends doubles win as the Swedes won two of three to pull out the win.

The Falcons will next host McPherson College on Apr. 17, with the women going at 9 am followed by the men at 10 am at Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita.
