[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Nabs Key GPAC Win over CSM

Doane Women's Tennis picked up a key GPAC win on Thursday with a road victory over College of Saint Mary. The top two teams in the GPAC based on overall record (Doane now 9-3, CSM now 4-2) met up in what is expected to be a critical match in both team's bid for their first conference title and Doane came out with an impressive victory. Doane and Concordia are the two remaining unbeaten teams in the GPAC, both at 2-0.

In doubles action, Doane took 1-doubles while Saint Mary won 3-doubles. For the doubles point, the winner of 2-doubles would take an early lead in the team race. Doane trailed 4-1 before taking six of the next seven games to win, 7-5, and pick up the doubles point.

The Tigers followed with five wins in singles action to earn the team victory.
