[Men's Tennis] No. 13 Hawks Easily Defeat USK 4-0
RAMONA, Calif – The No. 13 ranked San Diego Christian College men's tennis team made quick work of the visiting University of Saint Katherine Firebirds, shutting them out 4-0 Friday at Riviera Oaks in Ramona.
The Hawks jumped out to the early lead, capturing the initial doubles point. The pairing of and easily defeated the USK duo of Navarro/Franco, 6-1, and Robin Van Den Hoek and took down Cadena-Sabano/Gomez.
took down Sebastian Gomez 6-1, 6-0 and followed that up with a 6-0, 6-2 victory over USK's Matthew Melosch to get the ball rolling.
After losing his first set In singles 4-6, SDCC's flipped the script and won the remaining sets 6-0, 6-1 to wrap up the match.
SDCC's Robin van Den Hoek, and were all leading in the unfinished matches.
The Hawks take on the Arizona Christian Firestorm on Friday, April 9 in Ramona.
