[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Wins GPAC Opener

Doane Men's Tennis opened Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) play on Friday afternoon as Northwestern College came to Crete. The Tigers posted a 7-0 victory over the Red Raiders, handing NWC their first conference loss (1-1).

The longest match of the day came at 1-singles as Jorge Chevez (JR/Panama City, Panama) had to rally to post a three-set victory. Chevez dropped the opening set, won handily in the second set, and then came back in the final set by winning the final three games to take the win. The remainder of the matches saw Doane cruise to victories in straight sets.
