Venus Ends Title Dry Spell, Berdych Takes Sixth Spot In London Tennis Now covers the results from the weekend's events in Luxembourg, Vienna, and Stockholm and looks forward to the WTA Championships in Istanbul, and the men vying for the final spots in London in Basel and Valencia.

Good day tennis fans and welcome back to Tennis Now’s twice weekly news update show.

Venus Williams won her first WTA title since early 2010 this weekend in Luxembourg. For the last two seasons Williams has been slowed by injuries and illness but in Luxembourg she showed she still had the winning touch as she playing solid and consistent tennis.

Meanwhile, in Moscow, Caroline Wozniacki defeated Sam Stosur in a tough three setter to take her second title of the year.

Tomas Berdych beat out Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in three sets to take the title in Stockholm and claim the sixth spot in the ATP World Tour Finals! Also attempting to secure a spot in the finals, Juan Martin Del Potro took his third title of the season in Vienna.  With just two spots left, Del Potro and Tsonga appear to have a good shoot at qualifying, but Janko Tipsarevic could still grab a spot if he does well in Valencia, and if Rafa Nadal drops out again with his knee problems, Tipsarevic will get a free ride to London.

The dynamic American duo Bob and Mike Bryan will end the tennis season on top of the world for a record eighth time. The Olympic gold medalists are the only doubles team to win at least five titles for 10 consecutive years.

The WTA Championships are set to begin this week with the red group consisting of Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams, Angelique Kerber, and Li Na while the white group has Maria Sharapova, Agnieszka Radwanska, Petra Kvitova, and Sara Errani. And here’s a fun fact for you: the winner of the championships will walk away with $1.75 million.
