Bouchard’s PlayStation CRASHES as too many adoring fans add her to watch her play virtual Madrid Open match

EUGENIE BOUCHARD’S PlayStation crashed because so many fans tried to add her online.

The Canadian tennis star challenged her followers to a game of Tennis World Tour and encouraged them to add her username but it crashed her system.

The Canadian took to Instagram to update her followers

The 26-year-old is preparing for an online tournament on Monday – The Mutua Madrid Open Virtual Pro – in which a number of high profile tennis stars are taking part.

Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal are among the 24 names to be have confirmed they will participate in the online competition to raise money for those affected by coronavirus.

But Bouchard’s preparations were interrupted by the influx of follower requests.

She posted a picture of herself in a face mask on her Instagram story alongside a caption that read: “Woke up to a bunch of messages saying y’all can’t add me. I’m going to figure this out.”

Having sorted the issue, she uploaded a screenshot of from her PS4 and wrote: “Fixed it let’s go.”

But soon after the problem re-occurred when she posted a video of herself with a Cupid arrow filter speaking to the camera and said: “Too many of y’all added me so my PlayStation crashed and I had to restart it so thanks.”

That was soon followed by a snap of the athlete laying on her side with the simple caption: “Gaming overdose.”

Bouchard recently agreed to a date with a fan but asked him to bring toilet roll.

The former world No5 had complained of her boredom while social distancing last month, even admitting that it would be “a lot more fun with a boyfriend”.

Bouchard is in lockdown in her plush £3million penthouse apartment in Miami with four pools and amazing beach views.

She eventually fixed the problem
