[Women's Tennis] Hawks Cruise Past Saint Katherine 4-0

RAMONA, Calif. — The #20 ranked San Diego Christian Hawks women's tennis team kicked off the 2020 season in grand fashion, defeating the Saint Katherine University Firebirds 4-0 at Riviera Oaks Resort & Racquet Club.

In doubles play team captains, Sarah Urbanek and Nadine Geschke, won 6-1, Valentina Sottile and Angela Rinaldi prevailed 6-0 and Ava Tonnies and Nathalia Dolezelova completed the sweep 6-1.

In singles play, the Hawks continued to cruise past the Firebirds on straight set wins by Valentia Sottile (6-0, 6-0), Nathalia Dolezelova (6-0, 6-1), and Ava Tonnies (6-0, 6-1).

SDC's next match will be at Point Loma Nazarene on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 5:00 pm.
