“Your good friend Meghan Markle, who attended your last two slams, and her husband, Harry have taken a move, a stance, that many people think is extraordinary and historic,” a male reporter is heard asking in a video clip of her post-match news conference.

“What are your feelings about that and have you spoken to her?”

“I have absolutely no comments on anything with that,” she quipped.

“Good try. You tried. You did good.”

Markle and Williams have been best friends since they first met at the Super Bowl in 2010, according to TMZ.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world when they announced they would be stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family.

They’ll no longer use their HRH titles and will give up all taxpayer-funded allowances.

Instead, they’ll be splitting their time between the UK and North America.
