Hogs Wrap up Seminole All-Conference Showdown

The Arkansas women’s tennis team wrapped up the fall season at the 2019 Seminole All-Conference Showdown. The Hogs had phenomenal weekend and will open the new season at home vs Memphis Jan. 18, 2020 in the Billingsley Tennis Center.

 SINGLES:

Freshman Kelly Keller had a fantastic end to her first fall season winning all her matches. Keller started her weekend with a win over University of Central Florida’s Domenika Turkovic in a close match of 6-3, 7-6(5). The second day Keller defeated University of Evansville Andrea Pascual-Larrinaga 6-3, 7-5. On the last day of the tournament, Keller faced Clemson’s Ali Despain and dominated the first set 6-2 but fell in the second set to Despain 5-7. Keller came out victorious in the final set winning 6-3.

 DOUBLES:

The Razorbacks continued their performance throughout the Doubles draw with the duo of Myrna Olaya and Claire Slaughter losing their first doubles match  6-3 against University of North Florida’s Grinber and Rossi. The duo made a comeback in their second match against University of South Florida’s Yaylali and Eland winning 6-4.

 WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

The Hogs will open the 2019-20 season against Memphis at the Billingsley Tennis Center.
