Kate Middleton ‘takes George and Charlotte to a 42-acre London hideaway with adventure playground, 15 tennis courts and log cabin’, royal source claims

IT’S THE middle of the summer holidays for the royal kids – and Kate Middleton has been keeping Prince George and Princess Charlotte entertained at an exclusive 42-acre London hideaway.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, has been taking her children with Prince William, 37, to a £1,280-a-year private members’ club – which features an adventure playground, 15 tennis courts and a family log cabin.

A royal insider revealed to Hello! that the mum-of-three has been making frequent trips to The Hurlingham Club in Fulham with her six-year-old son, four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son Prince Louis.

“Kate has been at Hurlingham a lot over the summer,” they said.

“She takes all the kids. There’s a gorgeous playground they all love, and George and Charlotte have tennis lessons.

“They all pile into the clubhouse afterwards for lunch or tea and they’re never bothered, they’re just like any normal family. They all seem to really love it there.”

The club is a 25-minute drive from Kensington Palace, where the family reside when they’re in London.

Its extensive grounds have been specially-designed with families in mind – there’s an adventure playground, water play area, toddler zone and family log cabin which can be rented out.

There are also more than 15 tennis courts and a fitness centre, as wells as space to play boules and croquet.

Adult guests can make make use of the Dining Room and Polo Bar, plus a reading room and snooker tables.

Membership currently costs approximately £1,280 annually per person, but the waiting list is closed at present.

The club offers “first-class social and sporting facilities within an elegant and congenial ambience”.

It is believed the Cambridges will soon head up to the Queen’s Scottish residence of Balmoral for a break, during which they’ll enjoy long country walks, picnics and cinema evenings in the 52-bedroom castle.

They recently went on a family holiday to Mustique where they stayed in a £27,000-a-week villa.

We also revealed how Princess Anne, who’s celebrating her 69th birthday this week, still fits into clothes she wore 38 years ago.
